Food: Chinese restaurant in Mid Valley.

If you have try this restaurant, you would probably think that this restaurant is not really that good. But, the dish is pretty much better than some of the Chinese restaurant in terms of Cantonese cuisine. However, if you compare dishes and choice selection, you will find that this restaurant doesn't have special dish that attract you. Thus, this restaurant offer some decent food that makes you fell comfortable.

When you first flip open the menu, you will be surprise that they are serving main dish, porridge, noodles, dim sum, desert and rice. The interesting part is to order something you don't usually cook, which is porridge. There are as up to 8 porridge to choose from. The one you could try is the pork balls porridge. I recommended you to try this one because you will seldom eat pork balls with porridge or even try a dish that has minced pork. After ordering a porridge, lets order a noodles.

There is one nice noddles is the pork soft bone noodles. It is the restaurant specials. If you ever try this one, you would not try other meat with noddles. Before we even introduce the main dish, I have to mention little bit about the noodles. About 10 years ago, noodles was suppose to keep it with some kind of agent to prevent from humidity. But, now the noodles has been freshly made because people know the way to produce noodles. That what makes the noodles special in this restaurant. It taste nice and of course the noodles have that kind of crunchiness in it.

The dim sum is really good. From the Prawn dumpling to Fish maw, it taste really good. I can tell you the dim sum is looks gorgeous and it taste is like a restaurant style. Definitely, you must try the dim sum. For the desert, it is simply delicious. I have try the Yam Bun with Salted Egg Paste and Double Boiled Fungus With Papaya. It is all good and tasty, and it taste the way it should be.

Pricing is really reasonable if you are trying something like this: RM 6 - RM 35. Per person, that would be RM 20 per head.

Food: Tasty Noodles.

Have you ever try this dish before? What I am about to tell you is the food in this place is really only for those who know it from either exploring the whole place near HSBC quarters in Kuala Lumpur. It is one of the excitement to try something like this because this dish is unique and difficult to find cook that can make such a nice dish.

Before we even start to mention about the location, lets talk about the food itself. This Sang Ha Mee is really tasty because it have some unique blend of the soy sauce and other sauces that make this dish a one-of-a-kind dish. The first thing you must ask is whether the prawn is fresh because the fresh prawn will give you a good taste in this dish.

When I first try this in near Hang Lekiu / Tun H.S. Lee. This shop is opposite Bangunan Maybank. There is a lane going inside to reach this shop. This shop only open during the lunch hours, so it is quite pack during the noon. The shop is really secluded because it is not on the main street. If you ever find this shop, you can see some of the people on that lane selling fruits. When you passed the gold shop on your right in Tun H.S.Lee road, you can turn right at the traffic light. After you going into the lane, turn left, the shop is the first from the left.

Lets talk about the food the Sang Ha Noodles in that shop. The specialty of this shop is the noodles. When it comes to Singpore fried noodles, Sang Ha noodles and Cantonese-style Vermicelli, all these dish is really classical yet hard to find in the city. The Sang Ha noodles is really a must try because you seldom deep fried the noodles. Besides that, you will never try to mix and match your own styles for the sauces. So, you are pretty much to prepare a deep fried noodles with a tasty sauce. This dish also added some ginger to enhance the flavor of the dish. The main focus here is the sauce for the Sang Ha noodles. If the sauce is way to salty, you should not try. So far, this restaurant is really good at their sauce.

The Singapore fried vermicelli is also one of the classic fried noodles that only have in this place. The vermicelli must not fried until dry, it must be soft and tasty. The taste must blend with the seafood altogether. Indeed, this is also a dish that you can experience here than any other place.

The Cantonese-style vermicelli is among the best recommended dish to try. Whenever you go to a restaurant, their seldom mention about their famous stir-fry noodles. But, in this shop, you are about to taste some of the best stir-fry noodles in the town. The taste is really food and the smell is just awesome.

For the Sang Ha noodles: RM 60. For the Cantonese-style noodles: RM 15.

Food: A good breakfast means a lot.

I hope that you will enjoy this one because I got to mention about the nicest food you can find around Bangsar Village I. This mall have a few nice dining experience you will never imagine. Although there are many Western restaurant around Bangsar such as Victoria Station in Jln. Damansara and Italian cuisine behind Victoria Station, there are some wonderful dining place near Bangsar itself. Today, I would like to talk about the place you can find it though Google map. This restaurant is inside the Bangsar Village I. The name of the cafe is Plan B.

Have you eaten your breakfast yet! If you don't, then try out some delicious breakfast item in the menu. You might think that this cafe serve regular stuff, but it is not. This cafe has some outstanding breakfast you never have it other places. The first choice is Ben. This breakfast item offer two eggs and one muffin. The muffin is cut into half to grill and meanwhile the egg is porches. You will have two egg just nice sitting on top of the muffin.

I never think that is something awful to eat when it comes to something unusual like ox tongue. Although I have a bad feeling about this, but I still brave enough to chew everything. It taste really good. The ox tongue burger is one of the most bizarre food yet it taste good.

Have you ever try something fusion and yet you will like it. I have to say, the food you are about to try is the spicy pasta. When it comes to pasta, often people find that restaurant always serve creamy pasta or bolognese sauce. Certainly, this restaurant have some unique twist in their pasta menu. Spicy pasta with soft shell crab is one of the pasta that taste good even it is a fusion dish. I mean fusion because it has some element of Japanese in it.

Beside having a good main course, you better save your stomach for a try in their salad menu. The duck comfit with orange and watercress salad is absolutely a must try. You seldom find this restaurant dish in a place like this, and it taste fantastic. I guess salad also can be consider as one of the popular item in this restaurant.

The pasta, salad, burger and breakfast are among the top choices in this restaurant. The budget for a lunch or dinner is about RM 30 per person. Although is not cheap at all, but I have to tell you that this restaurant is stunning.

Food in Food Court.

I guess you are thinking, why am I talking about food in Food Court since most of the food are not really fantastic. I got to tell you about the food in food court can be 'good' if you are uncertain about the food in restaurants. I choose the food court in Mid Valley as for today post because this mall really have some diverse stalls in 4 food court. You can try out the food there, but you must know some facts before you go.

The first food court is located at the North Court 3rd floor. It has the most diverse food in the food court such as Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Korean and Malay food. When you are about to get hungry, you must be thinking that none of the restaurant are really recommended to go. Therefore, you are not sure where to go. To be honest, the food in this food court is pretty average, it is cater for people who didn't want to try out some delicious food in the mall.

The Indian food is pretty much alright for a price of two dishes and rice. To be honest, I haven't try the sizzling pan noodles because it must have the taste of both light and dark soy sauce, but I know it is also a pretty average dish to eat. The chicken rice, I find that is not close to the one I haven't eaten in traditional chicken rice shop. For the Japanese, I can tell you it is not authentic because it doesn't have the taste of a Ramen has.
For the Korean dish, I can tell you is pretty much average compare to authentic Korean food, but you can still try it out because it wasn't taste bad. Overall, this food court is pretty clean and organize.

The second food court is located at the Lower Ground. You have take the elevator down to Lower Ground and keep left until you reach the Donut and Thai restaurant. This is surely not about quality of food, is all about quantity. There are few stall selling dishes and rice, looks like a food court with limited choice. Most of the stalls sell Malay dishes, but one sell chicken rice. I have to tell you, the food you eat in this food stalls is quite average, pretty similar to the one you eat in elsewhere. Nothing really special.

The Third food court is located at the 2nd floor next Machines. Take the elevator up to 2nd floor and go to the left. This food court doesn't have a lots of crowd going there and few stalls have gone in this place. The food here has Indian, Malay and Chinese food. The only thing you can try is the Portuguese fish. It is really spicy and nice.

The Fourth food court is located next to the Borders. Take a walk to the Garden, go to the right and take elevator to the third floor. This food court some different thing. This food court serve some Korean food. Although is not quite authentic, but you can really try it out. There is a Kebab shop in the front, you can probably taste some nice kebab here too. When it comes to Indian food like roti, I guess Mamak store can do better than them. When it comes to Chinese noodles and soup, you better take your time to try something good in the Garden.

Overall, the food court in Garden and food court on the third floor of Mid Valley is pretty fine for dining. But, for those who are thinking about other restaurant, I will make a guide for that.

Food: Beef Ball Noodles.

Have you ever try a nice and juicy beef ball noodles? I have to tell you about the best beef balls noodles is in the city. There are actually two, but I got to show you the one that has three generation history. This shop is located at the Tun H.S Lee.After past the Indian temple and the Guan Di temple, walk straight towards the end of the street, then turn right. The shop name is called Sin Kao Yu. Opposite Lai Fong coffee shop and it is opposite row from Central Market.

This shop already open far long time. From black and white photo to now, it is like over 50 years. This shop is air conditioner, so you don't have to worry about the humidity. When you first go into the shop, the first thing you will notice that the stalls is like normal hawker stall with a shop. There is no surprise because this shop will open in the night.

Beef balls is really delicious to eat because it have some unique freshness flavor and the taste is just really exceptional. When I first try the beef ball in this shop, the taste is sweet and it has the freshness taste that you couldn't find in elsewhere. Definitely, the beef balls also have some secret ingredient into it. I know this is the reason you would like this shop.

The noodles topped with minced beef is guaranteed tasty. If you haven't try this out, you will never know that the taste is really balance between sweet and saltiness. It is just perfect with the minced beef on top of the noodles. This combination is really unique because of the well blend of the minced beef with dark and light soy sauce. So, you will taste a total best out of the noodles and the minced beef.

The soup is really taste better than beef in steamboat. The ingredient in the soup is just purely the beef ball. You will taste every spoonful of the fresh beef taste in your mouth. This is a must try for people who seldom go to Petaling Street.

Another shop I will like to recommend you to go is the Song Kee. From Petaling Street in Chinatown, you walk to the first traffic light ( S & M shopping mall, left is Gong Woh Tong, right is Nandos ), then walk to another traffic light. After 2nd traffic light, you have to walk across the road, and the shop is on your right. This shop is the ground floor of Bangunan Maybank.

Although both Song Kee and Sin Kao Yu serve some very delicious beef balls, but there are some different in terms of their noodles. One of the big different is the noodles in Song Kee. The shop serve some really nice wanton noodles in town. It taste matches very well with the minced beef. The minced beef in this shop have some unique blend of soy sauce and other ingredients. So, this is also a must try for those who haven't eat any beef ball noodles in their life.

In terms of noodles and minced beef, I think Song Kee is the best because of the well balance between the minced beef and the noodles. The soup and the beef ball is really nice and fresh. I have tell you, this shop is the star, you must try this one before you try SIn Kao Yu.

Food: OUG garden.

If you think that there is not enough of good food, probably you didn't know the place. Today, I just good to one of the coffee shop to try out some nice Fsh Porridge and Fried Kuai Teow. I would say is one of the best thing you ever have in this garden. If you are working and thinking about food to eat or simply want to have a lunch, this place is definitely good for those who love to eat and try tasty food. There few stalls offer some good food. So, I would introduce you some nice lunch meal.

When you are about to turn left after you past by the OUG plaza, you can keep in the right lane before you turn right near the traffic light. After turn in, you have keep at the left lane and wait to turn left at the traffic light. I guess this simple instruction will be handy for you.

If you are thinking about a nice porridge, you will definitely got to love this one because this stalls really serve fresh fish daily, so you wouldn't disappointed about the Fish porridge. This stall is located at the right end after the turning into the garden. When you first order, you must ask for the type of fish he have in the cooler.  At the same coffer shop, there is one Fried Kuai Teow stall. This stall serve some delicious stir-fry Kuai Teow, that seldom have in town. It is really nice to try.

The pork noodles stall located at the left row one of the coffee shop next to a lane. It has some really good taste in the soup. No the sweet taste you find inside the sugar, but it has some good soup. The pork noodles is one of the best because it really taste nice and good. The smell comes from the soup is really nice.

Lam Mee stalls is just the first coffee shop on your right. The Lam Mee is really nice and thick, but it didn't over flavor the soup. The soup is really thick, and it has the taste of both light and dark soy sauce in it. Even you try to describe the taste, but you never really know what is in it.

When you are about to go, you better try some Rojak near the junction on your left. This Rojak stall is really traditional Rojak. Is really a must try because it have the nice gravy and the crispy stuff that put into it make it taste better.
